ROTATION EFFECTIVENESS SCORE (RES) REPORT

The Rotation Effectiveness Score report provides a summary of all rotation evaluations completed by Learners per rotation(s), and/or per training session(s). 

To access this report, click Reports, then Rotation Effect. Score.

The Rotation Effectiveness Score (RES) report can be generated by Training Session, Rotation Service, and/or Location. Once you select the criteria click Search.

In the screen shot below, selected is the rotation evaluations for the Anaesthesia [Standard] rotation at any location, and for the 2016-2017 training period.

The first Rotation Service column consists of the scores of all hospitals that this rotation took place at.  The Overall Score column to the right displays the overall score found the report.  Click this score to view the whole RES report.

The Location column displays the RES report by each hospital where the rotation took place.  The value next to each hospital displays the Overall Score for that hospital and if clicked will display the RES report for that hospital.

Place your mouse over each heading to find an explanation of the heading.

Note that the reports are aggregated provided the evaluation forms used are the exact same form.

In order for a rotation or site to have an RES report, they must have the minimum required completed number of rotation evaluations.  The minimum is normally set to 3 however it is up to each program to decide on this number.

Information on setting the minimum number of completed rotation evaluations is entered for each training session, including the base max for calculating the average can be found here.
