Days until Closing Date for Completion of Evaluations from Rotation End Date

Teachers and learners are given a time frame in which to complete their respective evaluations; teachers complete learner evaluations while learners complete teaching and rotation evaluations. Once the time frame has passed the evaluations will be considered closed and will no longer be accessible.

This setting is accessed by selecting “Manage Rotations“, “Settings“, and then “Days until Closing Date of Evaluations from Rotation End Date“.

The number of days can be entered for each training session. If left blank the automatic default is 365 days.

In the example shown below for training session 2006-2007, teachers and learners are given 90 days from the rotation end date to complete their evaluations.  For example, If a rotation ended on 30-Jun-07 the evaluations would be considered “closed” from 29-Sep-07 onwards.

If a user that has missed the deadline to complete the evaluation still wishes to complete it then it is the decision of the program administrator whether to permit this. To do so the administrator simply changes this setting to a number that will surpass the current date. Once the user submits the evaluation the program administrator can change this setting back.

Note that changing the value on this setting will affect all users who may have closed evaluations in the same period; their evaluations will also be reopened.
